NIH innovators who helped develop coronavirus vaccines get top prizes at the Sammies awards for federal workers
Barney Graham and Kizzmekia Corbett, who helped develop the “basic structure” of the coronavirus vaccines with their work at the National Institutes of Health, will be honored with that title during the annual Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals, better knowns as the Sammies.
