Inmate found dead at Cumberland County jail
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a detainee at the Detention Center.Wendy Sutton, 29, of Fayetteville, was found unresponsive in her single-person cell Tuesday morning, according to a news release.Sutton had been in jail since June 29, the release said.The North Carolina Chief Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death, the release said.
