Much of the Cape Fear region, including Fayetteville, has been placed under a Flash Flood Watch by the National Weather Service on Thursday.It’s a harbinger of what looks like a soggy weekend in the eastern Carolinas, with projections of several inches of precipitation falling along and east of I-95.
