Red Springs man dies following shooting on Saturday
LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a Red Springs man dead over the weekend.Just before 10 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to the 90 block of Hendryx Drive in Red Springs and found Jovany Contreras suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a news release.Contreras, 56, was taken to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where he died from his injuries, according to the statement.Anyone with […]
