RAEFORD — People will gather Saturday to pay their respects to George Floyd during a public viewing at Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters in Hoke County.Floyd, a black man who died May 25 in the custody of white Minneapolis police officers, was born in Fayetteville.The public viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside the lobby area of the church.
