6- year-old dies in Harnett County vehicle crash on Saturday
A crash in Harnett County on Saturday evening claimed the life of a 6-year-old child, according to Pam Pool in the Harnett County office of the N.C. Highway Patrol.Evan Edward Davis, 46, of Cameron, was traveling north on State Road 1108 just before 7 p.m. on Saturday, when his 2013 Jeep ran off the right side of the road, according to Pool.Davis struck an embankment, and the jeep overturned onto the road. 6-year-old Laura Fay Davis died at the scene, according to Pool.
