Two Spring Lake detectives, suspect shot Monday on Poe Avenue
SPRING LAKE — Two Spring Lake Police detectives and a suspect were shot early Monday morning while law officers were attempting to serve warrants for arrest on two suspects on Poe Avenue, Chief Troy McDuffie said.One detective was shot in the arm and released with a non-life-threatening injury after being transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, a news release said.The other officer remains at Cape Fear Valley after undergoing surgery.
