Tornado touches down in Hoke County
Hoke County Emergency Management confirmed a tornado touched down Friday in Hoke County, said Phil Badgett with the National Weather Service Center in Raleigh.The tornado touched down at 3:58 p.m. five miles northeast of Silver City. There are reports of trees blown down, but no reports of injuries.
