Taliban, Afghan president declare three-day Eid ceasefire from Sunday
The Taliban declared a three-day Eid ceasefire in Afghanistan starting Sunday, via a tweet on Saturday from the hardline Islamist group, and the country’s president said the government would reciprocate.
