Phyllis George, co-host of 'NFL Today,' dies at 70
Phyllis George, who became the first female sportscaster to work at a major TV network when she was hired at CBS in 1974, has died at the age of 70. She was the co-host of “The NFL Today” from 1975 to 1984.
