CARTHAGE — A Moore County sheriff’s deputy shot an armed suspect Saturday night after a confrontation in the Westmoore community, the Sheriff’s Office said.The deputy was responding to a disturbance call when he was confronted by the armed suspect, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
