Cumberland Matters: Health Department packs hygiene kits for homeless
The Department of Public Health is helping to protect vulnerable residents from the COVID-19 pandemic by packing 250 hygiene kits to distribute to the homeless community through the Fayetteville/Cumberland Continuum of Care, Operation Inasmuch, the Salvation Army and the Hope Center.The hygiene kits contain toothbrushes, toothpaste, towelettes, lip balm and educational handouts about COVID-19 and other health concerns, as well as information about resources.“These […]
