Sex offender charged with attempted kidnapping in Fayetteville
A 34-year-old sex offender from Fayetteville has been charged with attempted second-degree kidnapping of a young teen Tuesday, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff‘s Office.Nathan Lynn Cooley, of the 5000 block of Williamsburg Drive, was arrested after the department‘s sex offender registry unit was able to place him in the Tammy Street area during the time of the incident using the GPS monitor that he was wearing, the Sheriff’s Office said.
