Robeson County man sentenced to four years for post office burglary in Pembroke
A Robeson County man was sentenced to four years in prison Friday for stealing mail from a post office, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.Britt Allen Jacobs, 46, was indicted May 16 on charges of mail theft and burglary of a post office, according to a news release.Jacobs pleaded guilty on Oct. 31.According to investigators, Jacobs broke a glass entry at the post office in Pembroke on Dec. 27, 2018.
