Mother sought mental help for suspect in Fayetteville VA shooting, officials say
A woman charged with shooting a man at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville on Friday was brought to the hospital for mental help, according to federal court documents.Jasmine Laquanmoyea Thomas, 27, was taken to the VA on Friday afternoon by her mother, Pamela McKinnon.
