Weather Permitting: 2020 starting with rain, temperature swings
The Cape Fear region is starting the new year with showers and some major temperature swings.High temperatures the next few days will yo-yo between the mid-70s and low 50s. It looks like we’ll stay above freezing in Fayetteville, but look for a threat of showers, possibly thunder in the southern region.Snowhounds will lament a lack of frozen precipitation, but the immediate pattern doesn’t support a hope of snow in our area at least through mid-month.
