1. MLK events: Ed Jackson Jr., executive architect of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation Inc., will give two lectures Friday. He will give a student lecture at 1 p.m. in the Rosenthal Art Gallery on the campus of Fayetteville State University. The second lecture is scheduled for 5 p.m. in the Pate Room at the Headquarters Library, 300 Maiden Lane.
