Chavez Jr. misses weight, will lose $1 million
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. weighed in at 172.7 pounds — nearly five pounds over the super middleweight division limit — for his fight against Daniel Jacobs on Friday. As a result, Chavez will forfeit $1 million of his roughly $3 million purse to Jacobs.
