Catcher Simmons, ex-exec Miller elected to HOF
Marvin Miller, the union leader who revolutionized baseball by empowering players to negotiate multimillion-dollar contracts, was elected to baseball’s Hall of Fame on Sunday along with former Cardinals catcher Ted Simmons.
