Domestic violence event: The Fayetteville National Organization for Women will place a wreath on the grave of Beryl Mitchell on Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 2301 Ramsey St. Mitchell was a victim of domestic violence in 1974, and the local NOW chapter places the wreath each year to bring attention to the problem of family violence.2.
