1. Salvation Army campaigns: The Salvation Army will kick off its Angel Tree program and Red Kettle campaign today at Cross Creek Mall. The Angel Tree program helps provide gifts for children and seniors in the community. Money raised through the Red Kettle drive goes toward the agency’s shelter and feeding programs as well as youth and senior programs throughout the year. The Angel Tree program runs through Dec. 11.
