Fayetteville man faces rape charge
A Fayetteville man is being held on $100,000 bail for a rape charge.Stanley Lee McLaurin, 58, of the 3800 block of Locks Creek Church Road, was charged Saturday with forcible rape, a sexual offense and restraint — all felony charges.Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office documents along with McLaurin’s court documents showed that McLaurin picked up the victim from a laundromat off N.C. 24 on Saturday to take her to her mother’s residence.
