Cumberland elections board plans for early voting will head to state board
The Cumberland County Board of Elections on Wednesday deadlocked again on a list of early voting sites for the March primary.The board, with three members present, voted 2 to 1 for a plan advanced by Republican Linda Devore. Her proposal would include six sites for early voting but exclude a location at Smith Recreation Center, which some Democratic Party activists and city residents wanted.
