Council hires mayor’s business lawyer as city bond counsel
A lawyer who has been Mayor Mitch Colvin’s personal corporate attorney for 20 years will become the city’s sole bond counsel under a proposal approved by the Fayetteville City Council on Tuesday.In a unanimous vote, the City Council agreed to give the job to The Charleston Group, a firm headed up by R.
