Wade man dies after truck crashes on Interstate 95 in Lumberton
LUMBERTON — A 74-year-old truck driver died after a wreck Sunday night on Interstate 95.After the accident about 10 p.m., Earl Johnson of Wade was taken to Southeastern Regional Medical Center, where he died, according to a statement released Monday by the Lumberton Police Department.Officers were sent to the southbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 19 because of an accident involving a tractor trailer, the statement said.
