Fayetteville police identify man found dead near woods
Fayetteville Police Department detectives have identified a man found dead in the woods earlier this week.Larry Scott, 47, of the 5000 block of Sherrod Drive, was found by officers shortly after 10:15 a.m. Wednesday near the 300 block of Brinkley Street and declared dead at the scene, authorities said Thursday.“The investigation is still active, but it is not being investigated as a homicide,” police said in a news release.Authorities said the cause of […]
