Elon professor, historian Troxler has died
George Troxler, a distinguished figure at Elon University who served as a professor, administrator and historian of the university, died Sunday, Oct. 27, the university announced Monday.Troxler “both shaped and chronicled Elon’s history for nearly five decades while building countless relationships with students, faculty, staff and alumni,” Owen Covington, director of the university News Bureau, wrote in an article on the university’s website.
