Cumberland Matters: Grant money will help opioid crisis efforts
A three-year, $900,000 grant for the Cumberland County Department of Health will aid the county’s efforts to combat the opioid drug crisis that claims as many as five lives per day across North Carolina.The grant from the U.S. Department of Justice will fund a Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-based Program.
