Police ID suspect in Fayetteville State shooting
Fayetteville State University police arrested a 24-year-old New Bern man in connection with a shooting Monday night on the campus of the university, according to court documents.Codondrea Tiykweill Purdie, of the 100 block of Lilliana Court in New Bern, is charged with attempted first degree murder, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
