Fayetteville police identify victim, suspects in fatal assault
Fayetteville police were investigating a fatal assault Sunday night after a 44-year-old Fayetteville man was found dead near the 400 block of Cumberland Street, a news release said.Derrick Lamont Davis, of the 100 block of Mary Street, has been identified as the victim, police said.The suspect in his death has been identified as Raymond Leon Cogdell, 38, of the 2000 block of Lady Slipper Drive.
