Chantal, we hardly knew ye … if we knew ye at all.The quick spinup well off the mid-Atlantic coast yesterday managed to mess up my prediction of no more named storms before football season (by a few days) but it did little else beyond continue the legacy of “meh” storms with that name.Now demoted to tropical depression, this latest Chantal is the eighth storm so-named.
