An exceptional children’s teacher at Bill Hefner Elementary School has been suspended with pay, Cumberland County Schools officials said Friday.April Caudill’s suspension comes one day after Cumberland County District Attorney Billy West said he planned to reopen a misdemeanor assault case against Caudill that was dropped earlier this year.
