Fayetteville NOW to present skit of first women's rights convention

The Fayetteville chapter of the National Organization for Women will celebrate Women’s Equality Day on Sunday at Headquarters Library.Members of the chapter will present a skit of the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention, which is regarded as the beginning of the modern feminist movement, the organization said in a news release.The chapter will also highlight profiles of other suffragists from the past two centuries.The public is invited to the event, which will be at 2:30 p.m. […]
