Brexit: Ireland will not support abolition of backstop, says Coveney
Ireland will not support an abolition of the so-called ‘backstop” regarding Brexit, said Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney on Wednesday, who also said Ireland was committed to exploring other arrangements in future.
