Schiff, the House intelligence chair, says he first learned of Russian attacks on Senate campaigns at a security forum
The California Democrat recalled his surprise when a Microsoft representative said at a conference last year that three Senate campaigns had been attacked by what seemed like the same Russian government unit that interfered in the 2016 election. “That should not be the first time the Intelligence chair is hearing that,” he said.
