Rain washes out Hope Mills Party in the Park
HOPE MILLS — The Hope Mills Party in the Park and fireworks have been canceled due to rainy weather, Mayor Jackie Warner said.Warner said town officials had hoped the storm that started about 4:30 p.m. would pass, but had to cancel the festivities when the rain persisted.
