1. African World Peace Festival: The fifth annual African World Peace Festival is Friday through Sunday in downtown Fayetteville. The three-day event will feature dance performances, cultural exhibitions, music, storytelling and more. Hours are Friday from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. A 5k Peace run/walk is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday.
