Mother charged with child abuse in death of baby girl
LUMBERTON — Both parents of a 1-year-old North Carolina girl who authorities say arrived at a hospital unresponsive and bruised have now been charged in connection with her death.The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that 25-year-old Sarah Hardin of Shannon, the mother of 1-year-old Jadalyn Barton, was arrested Friday.
