Fire causes damage to Fayetteville apartment complex
A fire at an apartment complex on Winding Creek Road caused an estimated $100,000 in damage on Tuesday night, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.Firefighters were called to the 500 block of Winding Creek Road at approximately 8:12 p.m. found smoke and flames showing on the roof of the apartment building, according to a statement from the Fayetteville Fire Department.Residents of the eight apartments were all evacuated while firefights worked to stop the fire.
