Fayetteville chamber recognizes first responders
Stories of heroism took center stage Tuesday morning.The occasion was the Valor Awards, presented by the Greater Fayetteville Chamber and held at Manna Church on Cliffdale Road.More than 50 awards were presented to people in the fields of law enforcement, firefighting, emergency services and other areas.”These are the people who run in when everybody else is running out,” Michael Fletcher, the senior pastor at Manna, said during the invocation at the breakfast ceremony.
