1 injured, pet dies in house fire
One person was injured and a pet died Friday night at a residential fire at 1305 Turnpike Road, according to a news release from the City of Fayetteville Fire-Emergency Management Department.Upon arrival on the scene after the 6:50 p.m. dispatch call, firefighters found a single story, single-family dwelling with heavy flames throughout much of the home, the release said.
