Suspect arrested in stabbing death of 78-year-old Fairmont woman
LUMBERTON — A man from the Fairmont area was charged on Sunday afternoon with stabbing to death a 78-year-old woman who lived in southern Robeson County, the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office reported.Jonathan Martin Oliver, 27, of the 9600 block of N.C. 41 South, Fairmont, was arrested about 2 p.m. on charges of first-degree murder, first-degree burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon, a news release says.
