Mother’s Day carriage rides: The Cool Spring Downtown District will host horse-drawn carriage rides in honor of Mother’s Day on May 11 from 1 to 8 p.m. Rides will leave from 222 Hay St., across from the Cameo Art House Theatre, and last about 20 minutes. Tickets for group rides are $15 per person or $10 for children 10 years old and younger. Private rides for two are available for $60.
