NC transportation board honors Lyndo Tippett, Mac Campbell, Fort Bragg
The N.C. Board of Transportation has dedicated the section of Interstate 295 between I-95 in Cumberland County and Ramsey Street to Lyndo Tippett, who served as state transportation secretary from 2001-09.Also on Thursday, the board dedicated the N.C. 87 Bypass in Elizabethtown to Mac Campbell, who was a transportation board member from Bladen County for eight years under former Gov.
