Lumberton man fleeing police rolls car into river
LUMBERTON — A Lumberton man fleeing police rolled his car into the Lumber River early Saturday morning.At 1:22 a.m. Saturday, officers with the Lumberton Police Department found Brandon Glenn Ivey 31, of Earnhart Drive, operating a car in the area of First and Water streets that was registered to someone else, according to a news release.Officers ran Ivey’s name and found he had outstanding felony warrants for his arrest in Cumberland County, the release said.
