Lumberton man fleeing police rolls car into Lumber River
LUMBERTON — A Lumberton man fleeing police Saturday rolled his car into the Lumber River.At 1:22 a.m. Saturday, officers with the Lumberton Police Department found Brandon Glenn Ivey 31, of Earnhart Drive, operating a car in the area of First and Water streets, according to a news release.The car was registered to someone else, the release said.Officers ran Ivey’s name and found he had outstanding felony warrants for his arrest in Cumberland County, the release said.
