Fayetteville police: Cashier killed in Clinton Road gas station robbery
Police are investigating after a cashier at a Clinton Road gas station was found dead late Wednesday night, the Fayetteville Police Department said in a news release.Officers were dispatched the Express Mart gas station on the 1500 block of Clinton Road at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in response to a report of a man suffering a gunshot wound, the release said.The man, who has been identified as a cashier at the store, was confirmed dead on the scene.
