Fayetteville in throes of springtime heatwave
Since May 17, temperatures have reached the 90s everyday but twice in the Fayetteville area. And on one of those two days, it rose to 89 degrees, according to Brandon Locklear, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Raleigh.
