Box truck catches fire after accident on U.S. 401 near Raeford
RAEFORD — One person was taken by helicopter to a hospital on Friday after a three-vehicle accident on U.S. 401 in Hoke County.The wreck happened near Hensdale Drive between where U.S. 401 Business and North Main Street split off from the highway that is known as Fayetteville Road.Firefighters, emergency workers and Hoke County sheriff’s deputies were on the scene.A box truck, a sports utility vehicle and a pick-up truck were involved.
