Vigil held for suicide awareness
The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation held an opening ceremony and candlelight vigil Friday night for the “22-13” Veterans’ Suicide Awareness Memorial. Artist Scott LoBaido’s traveling memorial will be on display at the museum’s parade field through Sunday. The memorial is meant to raise awareness about the number of soldiers who commit suicide every day. The museum is at 100 Bragg Blvd.
